Hurricane Georgie
It’s impossible to ignore the appeal of Gordon Elliott’s runner dropped into handicap company. She may look the stable second string by jockey booking, but she showed enough when runner-up at Punchestown in a Grade 3 novice chase to suggest this opening mark underestimates her. Interesting on handicap debut from a featherweight mark on a track likely to suit

Bar One Racing Price Boost Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 3) 12.35
Fil Dor
Gordon Elliott’s grey won his debut under rules at Down Royal in a race that didn’t take much winning, but it was a pretty impressive display all the same, powering clear of the field from three out. Davy Russell remounts in the saddle and a bold show is expected again

BARONERACING.COM Royal Bond Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) 1.05
My Mate Mozzie (nb)
He was given here last time out for his demolition job at Navan, Gavin Cromwell has one right out of the top drawer here. He jumped out to the right round Navan’s up and down track, so should be suited to this right-handed galloping track. He’s good enough for this grade, an exciting prospect, and a worthy favourite

BARONERACING.COM Drinmore Novice Chase (Grade 1) 1.35
Cape Gentleman
Emmet Mullins has as good a chance as any with Cape Gentleman,
who should be suited by this flatter track having won the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices’ Hurdle at Kempton back in February. Returning from a break in October, his chasing record reads 1,1,2 and there’s surely more to come from this unexposed youngster. Solid place claims at the least

BARONERACING.COM Porterstown Handicap Chase (Grade B) 2.05
Coko Beach
Coko Beach has to shoulder top weight here, but there’s good reason for that, and Gordon Elliott’s Cullentra inmate should be race fit after an early season outing at Down Royal to blow out the cobwebs. Jack Foley’s 5lb claim helps offset his handicap mark, so he should still be in the mix after this marathon trip, having only ever toppled over once in 17 starts, and that at the final fence

BARONERACING.COM Hatton’s Grace Hurdle (Grade 1) 2.40
Honeysuckle (nap)
She’s won this the last two seasons and it’s the unbeaten mare’s usual starting point into her campaign. Two years back she was nine lengths clear of her closest rival, Bacardys, but last year had to fight off the attentions of Ronald Pump, eventually prevailing by half a length. However, that rival now has something to prove after a break, so the coast should be clear for a third successive win, and she’s very hard to oppose

BARONERACING.COM Handicap Hurdle (Grade A) 3.10
Autumn Evening
Sean O’Keefe will be looking to make amends for falling two out in the Fishery Lane Hurdle at Naas, where he was just at the front of affairs. That was a classy race for the grade, eventually won by the smart Teahupoo, so this drop back into handicap company should see Autumn Evening involved in the shake-up with the good ground to suit. Solid each way chance in a valuable race

Royal Romeo
Race experience could count here with so many debutants, and Royal Romeo made an encouraging start to his career when runner-up at Down Royal last month. Gordon Elliott had a highly rated one in American Mike that last day but there won’t be anything of that sort here, so he can go one better in the excellent hands of Pat Taffe
